Roxy is a stunning girl who is looking for a loving home. She is a medium-sized, wire-haired dog, similar in size to a Labrador, with a sweet face and a charming schnauzer-like beard. Roxy is an affectionate girl who loves attention from her carers.

Not much is known about Roxy’s background. She was rescued from a kill shelter in Romania and brought to our temporary foster accommodation. As she is still young, she may have been born on the streets and picked up by dog catchers, or it is possible that she once had a home but was abandoned. Roxy is a friendly girl who is happy to say hello to people, so we believe she was probably raised around humans before finding herself at the shelter.

Now that she has had time to settle outside of the shelter, she is loving all the attention. Roxy is a real cuddle bug and enjoys spending time with her carers. She is great with other dogs and would be happy sharing her forever home with a canine friend. As this may be Roxy’s first time living in a home environment, a doggy sibling could be a great guide for her and give her someone to follow while she learns the ins and outs of family life.

Roxy is also cat-friendly. She is far more interested in cuddling with her human friends, so a home with cats could be an option for her—ideally with cats who have met dogs before.

She is good with children and could live in a home with children aged 12 and over. Due to her size and young age, she can become a little excitable when playing. A home with a garden would be wonderful so she can sunbathe in the summer and enjoy playing with her ball and toys.

As she is still technically a puppy, Roxy would benefit from a home that can help her learn boundaries and establish a routine. She is a sponge for training and will be eager to learn. When she has her bags packed and makes her journey to the UK, she will receive a great head start with her training to ensure she leaves for her new home on the right paw.
