Meet Dice. ❤️🐾

Dice is 8 years old this August and, sadly, through no fault of his own, a change in circumstances means he is now looking for a new home.

He’s neutered, vaccinated, microchipped — and a very handsome Dachshund. 🐾

Now, Dachshunds are one of the most misunderstood breeds. They are working dogs. They were bred to use their noses, investigate, explore and work — not simply sit on a knee all day.

Dice currently lives happily with 3 other dogs and children aged 8+, but he can be a little wary when out on the lead, so he’ll need someone who understands him and understands the breed.

Dice needs to be allowed to be a dog. ❤️

He needs someone who will give him the time, guidance and enrichment that a Dachshund needs — and, most importantly, someone who will see the brilliant dog underneath it all.

At 8 years old, Dice deserves his forever home.
