Our little Evie is extremely precious, we are looking for a relaxed home where she can chill out and enjoy the quiet life. She is stunning, with beautiful wavy black fur, an eye-catching white patch on her chest, and captivating, soulful brown eyes.

Evie’s life was challenging before she joined us, marked by several litters of puppies that, sadly, did not survive. We found Evie in a company yard, in a tiny dog house with no comfort whatsoever.

While one of the rescue team members was feeding the local stray dogs, little Evie emerged with two small puppies. We left food and water for them, planning our return to determine their ownership. Unfortunately, when we came to fetch them, only one puppy was left. The building’s owners let us take the Evie and her remaining puppy, and we learned that four of her other puppies had been hit by cars.

For the past two months, Evie and her pup have been under our protection, and now it’s time for Evie to find her permanent home. She deserves a life beyond the streets, filled with comfort, love, and delicious treats.

Ideally, Evie would thrive in a home with an owner who is retired or works part time/from home so that she can have company. She is a gentle soul without a bad bone in her body, but her history means that she would prefer a quiet environment, ideally without young children. Family/visiting children should ideally be over 12 years old and “dog-savvy”.

While Evie is compatible with other dogs and gets on well with visiting pets and dogs on walks, but she would benefit from being the sole pet, receiving all the attention and love she truly deserves.

It is likely that, before coming to us, Evie had never been walked on a lead. We’ve noticed that while she is fine walking with a lead and harness, she greatly prefers being carried. Evie is truly a lap dog and relishes receiving the royal treatment.

She has not been tested with cats, but testing could be considered for an appropriate applicant.
