Lovely Lucy—what a stunner! This gorgeous little lovebug has a long, fluffy coat and an affectionate, gentle nature, making her a wonderful candidate for adoption.

Despite her young age, Lucy is taking all her new experiences in stride, happily introducing herself to everyone she meets. Like any puppy, she is still prone to typical puppy behaviours, so she would benefit from training in her forever home to help her grow into a well-behaved adult. With guidance and consistency, she’ll thrive in a loving environment.

Lucy adores children and is always gentle with the staff’s young children when they visit. Since they are all under the age of ten, we believe she would be absolutely fine in a home with children over “knock-down age”—as she loves to follow them around to see what they’re up to!

She has also made plenty of animal friends during her time in the kennels. Lucy plays beautifully with dogs of all shapes and sizes and would really benefit from having an established dog in the home to guide her. However, she would be just as happy as the only pet, as long as she gets plenty of attention from her owner. Crate training would be a great way to ensure she has her own safe space when left alone, so she isn’t overwhelmed in a big house all by herself.

Lucy’s friendly nature even extends to cats—she would have no trouble settling into a home with some feline company.

Lucy is full of love, joy, and curiosity, and she’s ready to bring happiness to the lucky family who welcomes her. With her sweet personality and eagerness to please, she will make a fantastic companion.
