Lovely Mr Raffles If you’re looking for a sweet older gentleman, then this might just be the boy for you! At nine years old, Raffles has all the charm of a silver fox, yet still has enough spring in his step to join you on your morning walks. His beautiful freckly coat is perfectly complemented by a pair of enormous ears. We’re not sure where he was hiding them, but here they are!

Raffles was originally rescued from a kill shelter in Romania. Sadly, many of these places are run for profit, meaning dogs can end up there after being picked up by dog catchers in exchange for money. Given Raffles’ age and how comfortable he is around people, it’s unlikely he was a street dog for long, if ever.

He has an incredibly gentle nature and gets along wonderfully with everyone. Raffles would happily share his home with other dogs, cats and children. He really would make a wonderful companion for so many people.

Despite his years, Raffles can still be a little jumpy when he’s excited, but this is something that can easily be managed with a bit of training. He’s a truly lovely boy who just wants a home where he can be loved.
