You can make a difference
How to make a difference not only includes a monetary donation or adoption. We also welcome fundraising events on our behalf and will be able to supply you with your very own fundraising charity pack which includes posters, invites, banners and items to help your event be a huge success. Please let us know what you are planning and we will support you in supporting us.

monthly contributions

The Buddies Club

We also welcome contributions monthly to our rescue in the form of “the Buddies Club”.

This is our regular donation club which enlists you in our emailing system to receive a newsletter that goes out every month showcasing our activities and goings on within the rescue, meet the team and who is who, which dogs arrived and which dogs were lucky enough to be re-homed.

The money raised through Buddies Club helps us to budget and know what we have in the pot for financing our kennel overheads to include staff wages, food bills and utilities and money needed to cover vets fees. We have a weekly food bill averaging £150 per week… a food pot donation would always be gratefully received.

Toby's doggy deli

We raw feed most of the dogs in kennels if possible and buy from a local supplier. We feed only  natural treats and welcome gift packs sent in from our local supplier.

Sarah Meehan very kindly supplies our natural treats at a fabulous discount and supports our rescue with fundraising events within her own business, she also has 3 rescue dogs from us and you will see her always standing locally with her stall.

We run an Amazon Wish List for items that we regularly use and are so grateful for items on the list, the list is updated regularly in line with our kennel needs at the time.

Admin support

We are always looking for administration skills to join our admin team which follows our dogs' journey. Our admin team checks in with all our adopted dogs on a regular basis starting with an immediate contact after rehoming and then at set times 3 months, 6 months and 12 months and annual reviews.

This is to ensure all is well and if there is any help needed in any areas, checking up on registration of microchips and spay and neuter contracts are fulfilled. The rescue runs a dual registration system for microchipping to make sure all our dogs are trackable with the rescue back details sitting behind the microchip.

Fundraising is a huge part of our rescue as we are not funded so we do rely solely on charity donations.

We welcome any items that you feel could raise funds in terms of selling items on our Vinted account, Facebook market place or garden sales on our behalf and any high-value items we could potentially auction or raffle.

Do you have a business expertise that you think could help us or own a company that would be willing to support us….Please Get in Touch. We are able to claim gift aid on most of our donations.

We look forward to this year's fundraising events with our amazing printed gazebo ready to boost funds.

Foster (1)

FOster a dog

We are currently in the process of building our local foster team. We welcome volunteer foster carers to come forward to initially spend some time working at the kennels with a view to understanding our training methods and individual training programmes for each dog. We aim to build a confident network of foster carers that will support our dog's transition into their new home exposing them to home comforts and environmental experiences.

This is a vital role to play within our charity and gives us the opportunity to assess our dog's adaptation to outside kennel life so that we can place them appropriately in their forever homes.

Please complete the enquiry form if interested. A team member will then contact you.
