Little Effie is such a sweet little girl. She is a young, active puppy looking for a home where she can have fun, play games, and enjoy plenty of cuddles. She is absolutely stunning—a blonde little bombshell with the sweetest brown eyes. While she is fairly small at the moment, we expect she will grow to be Labrador-sized.

Effie was rescued along with her mum and siblings from a kill shelter in Romania. She is great at making friends and eagerly comes up for fusses. Having spent her whole life in a kennel environment, she will need an owner who is committed to raising a puppy—a task that is no small feat. She will require puppy training, toilet training, and socialisation. Thankfully, she is still with her siblings and loves playing with other dogs, so a home with a canine companion would be ideal, giving her someone to follow, play with, and learn from.

We have not yet had the chance to cat-test Effie. Given her young age, she may be a bit overwhelming for a cat who hasn’t met a dog before. We recommend slow and steady introductions to ensure everyone stays safe.

Effie has not met children, so we advise that any children in the home are over 12 and understand that she will naturally display typical puppy behaviour. Engaging with a trainer when necessary, establishing clear boundaries, and maintaining a consistent routine will help Effie grow into a well-balanced adult dog.
