Lovely little Mondi has been waiting very patiently for a home of her own. She is a beautiful lady with black and white fur, and gorgeous, soulful brown eyes.

She lives in temporary foster at one of our rescuers homes and is around 6-7 years old. She is small in height, but a proper curvy missy. Mondi can live with other dogs but will need some time for the introductions. Surprisingly, she prefers the company of cats. She lives very nicely with cats of all sizes and ages, so would suit an older person’s home, maybe with some feline company.

One thing to be aware of is that she doesn’t like other animals around her food, people are fine to come and give food and treats – she is never grabby or possessive but the survival instinct towards other dogs remains. She is absolutely fine if fed separately, which we recommend for all dogs anyway.

Mondi is not a big fan of children, she is not a lap dog or the type that likes being smothered, cuddled on the sofa or picked up. Therefore we would suggest a home with a retired person or a child-free owner who is happy to let Mondi have her space.

Mondi doesn’t ask for much really, she will be very happy with a few toys a comfy bed, stability and patience.

She has tested negative for brucellosis, leishmaniasis and has passed her Snap 4D test which tests for heartworm, ehrlichia and anaplasma. She is very healthy and will live a long happy life with her future family.
