Charlotte, our sweet girl, has been waiting far too patiently for her forever home—nearly 9 months without a family to call her own! It truly breaks our hearts to see such a gentle and loving soul still in her kennel, especially when we know she would make the perfect addition to someone’s life.

Charlotte is a classic beauty, with the kindest brown eyes we ever did see. Her unique sepia-tone colouring gives her a one of a kind look that we find just beautiful. Paired with her gentle nature and humble personality, it’s not hard to see why she is a favourite in the kennels.

Charlotte is a gentle soul who takes a polite approach to life. She doesn’t rush to the front of her kennel for attention but waits patiently for her turn, quietly stepping forward to ask for some soft strokes—if it’s not too much trouble. Her calm and mild-mannered nature makes her an ideal companion for someone who enjoys quiet moments on the sofa and leisurely strolls through the park. Charlotte’s needs are simple: a few toys, a comfy bed, and a loving home to call her own.

Having spent a lot of time in the kennels alongside other dogs, Charlotte would thrive in a home with a canine companion. She’s naturally submissive and gets along well without stirring up conflict. While she hasn’t been introduced to cats yet, we’d be happy to arrange a cat test if needed.

We think Charlotte would do best in a home with older children or a child-free environment. While she hasn’t met young children, her gentle demeanor suggests she’d likely be fine with kids over 15, particularly those with experience around rescue dogs. A crate in the home would be beneficial, offering her a safe and cozy spot to retreat to when she needs a moment of quiet. Currently, she’s taken to curling up in a straw-lined hutch like a little rabbit, but we think she’d much prefer a snug crate with a soft bed and a chew toy.

At her age, Charlotte has left the puppy phase behind but still has a youthful eagerness to learn. She’s a blank slate, ready to be taught new tricks and skills. While she’ll need some lead training due to her limited experience, with a little patience and consistency, she’ll quickly find her stride. Charlotte is brimming with potential and would make a truly wonderful addition to a loving home.
