Poor Bertie, back with us again. He just can’t seem to catch a break!
Bertie is once more on the search for his forever home after struggling to settle into his current one. He’s an absolute charmer with his expressive face and the classic Frenchie features that make the breed so well loved.

At just over a year old, Bertie has had a strong start. He has received lead training, walks beautifully on the lead, and really enjoys being out and about. He’s completely neutral towards other dogs when out of the house, happily walking past them without a fuss. At home, he’s well behaved, fully house trained, and sleeps through the night. He also loves nothing more than a cosy nap snuggled up on the sofa.

Unfortunately, Bertie hasn’t been able to settle in his current home, largely because he isn’t too keen on the resident cat. This stress has made it difficult for him to bond with the family dog, and so his current owners have made the difficult decision to ask us to find him a new home.

Bertie is a fast learner and always eager to play, so a home with a garden would be ideal so that he can chase his ball to his heart’s content.

Ideally, any children in the home should be over 14, as Bertie doesn’t have much experience with younger ones. However, we’d consider younger children if they have experience with dogs. As mentioned, Bertie would prefer to be the only dog in the home, so he can soak up all the love and attention. He has plenty to give!
