Little white fluff ball Dushica is ready and raring to go! We promise she hasn’t been in some terrible electrical accident—her fur just naturally likes to stand on end like that. With her adorable underbite and button nose, she is certainly a unique mix of breeds.

Dushica means “soul” in Macedonian, and when we first found her, she was wandering the streets like a little lost soul. She was trying to follow people, a clear sign that she had recently been abandoned. It was obvious she wasn’t equipped for life on the streets, so we took her into the kennels to find her a loving home where she could return to the comfort of a family.

She gets along well with other dogs and could live with another well-behaved dog, though we recommend feeding them separately—dogs with experience on the streets can sometimes be protective over food. Dushica can be a little shy at first; she’s not one to push to the front of the queue for cuddles, instead patiently waiting to be called over for attention. She hasn’t been cat-tested yet, but we’re happy to arrange this for a potential adopter.

Dushica is very gentle with children and always takes treats with care. She would be happy in a home with younger kids—especially if they give her some gentle fuss and let her claim the warm spot on the sofa after they get up!

She enjoys a nice daily stroll around the neighbourhood, walking beautifully on the lead and stopping now and then for a good sniff. Dushica even knows a few tricks from her previous home—she remembers to sit and will politely offer her paw for a charming handshake.

Dushica is a sweet, gentle soul who deserves a loving home where she can feel safe and cherished. With her affectionate nature, good manners, and love of cosy spots, she will make a wonderful companion for the right family.
