Lea is a sweet and gentle mixed breed with long legs, soft brown fur, and soulful puppy-dog eyes. She loves human attention and never misses an opportunity for a polite handshake—she’s always eager to make a good first impression!

We believe Lea was born on the streets and stayed near people to find food. When she approached one of our rescuers, offering her paw in exchange for treats, it was clear she deserved more than life on the streets.

She’s an easygoing and well-behaved dog in kennels, happy to share space with other dogs. She’d likely benefit from having a canine sibling in her new home to help her adjust, as she’s never lived in one before. However, Lea is not suited to living with cats—she finds them a bit too scary.

At three years old, Lea is past the excitable puppy stage but still enjoys bursts of playfulness. A home with a garden would be ideal so she can have her daily zoomies. Otherwise, she’d be happy with a daily walk and some time to relax.

Lea would do well in a family with children over 7 years old. She’s gentle, patient, and takes treats politely, but her long legs and playful energy might be too much for younger kids.
