My goodness, Loki! Thankfully, we managed to get him to sit still long enough for some photos. This lively boy is an absolute stunner, with a fluffy puppy coat and an adorable bandit mask around his eyes—perfectly showing off what a cheeky chap he really is.

Loki wasn’t so much found as he made himself known. He was first spotted hiding underneath one of our rescuer’s cars and, when she tried to coax him out, he spotted her open front door and bolted inside! After spending a week living in the yard, we finally convinced him that he wasn’t going to be evicted back onto the streets—and ever since, he’s been a big, cuddly teddy bear.

Now that Loki has been vet-checked and given the all-clear, he’s ready to find a home committed to raising a puppy. Boundaries, consistency, and training will be key to ensuring he grows into the well-rounded, go-anywhere dog we know he can be.

While he’s still a manageable size now, we estimate that Loki will grow quite large—likely around the size of a Shepherd. Because of this, lead training and structure will be essential as he gets bigger. At the moment, Loki is 100% puppy—full of beans, always ready to run, play, and make new friends. He gets on well with dogs of all sizes, so we imagine he would love a canine sibling in his forever home. That said, we recommend a dog with a similar play style, as his enthusiasm might be a bit too much for an older, calmer dog.

Loki has even made friends with the kennel cats! Though he can be a little rough in play, he never means any harm—it’s just his way of making friends.

With the right routine and training, Loki would make a fantastic companion for children. He gets along beautifully with the kennel staff’s kids and is always up for fun, though he does tend to hang back around particularly noisy children. Because of his predicted size, we recommend a home with children over 12, but we would consider younger ones if they have experience with dogs.

Loki is a fun-loving, affectionate boy who is ready to find a family that will guide him as he grows. With his playful nature, cheeky charm, and eagerness to learn, he has all the makings of a fantastic lifelong companion.
