If you’re looking for a lively partner to join you in a little mischief, Pax is your man. He’s a gorgeous, mostly black boy with striking amber eyes. His stocky build and big head make him irresistible to anyone who loves dogs with real personality. He’s a decent size, similar to a Labrador, and would no doubt try to make himself right at home on your lap (completely unaware of how heavy he is).

Pax is another dog pulled from a kill shelter. Given his age and the fact that he was neutered, we believe he may have had a home before being abandoned or picked up by dog catchers. He is very friendly with people and has a confident, outgoing personality. Due to his size and strength, he would benefit from some lead training, as he has the potential to be quite strong – he’s a big, muscular lad.

He is good with other dogs and loves to play so he could share his forever home with a canine friend. He is also good with cats, although Pax can be a little clumsy, so we would recommend any resident cats are dog-savvy and avoid settling underneath him like the cat in his cat test video!

Pax would thrive in an active home. He is friendly and playful and would love a good run around the garden or time in a secure field to burn off some energy. Having another friendly dog in the home would give him a great playmate, but he would be just as happy having all your attention. Pax is a real love bug who simply wants to be part of a loving family.
