Raffles is looking for a home where he can settle down and enjoy the rest of his life in comfort.
He’s the perfect medium size, ideal for most households His adorable freckles and gentle expression make him a real head-turner in our kennels.

Raffles was rescued from a kill shelter in Romania and is now staying in our foster kennels while he waits for his forever home. He was a little shy when he first arrived, but soon settled in and began to show his sweet nature.

As an older boy, Raffles isn’t as lively or boisterous as some of our younger dogs, making him a perfect match for someone seeking a laid-back companion to share the sofa with.

He gets along well with other dogs, preferring to keep to himself and avoid any trouble. He’s also fine with the kennel cats who come to visit, happy to give them a quick sniff before returning to whatever he was doing.

Although Raffles is more mature, he’s still experiencing many things for the first time, so a slow and steady approach will be important. He’ll need time to adjust, with gentle introductions to new experiences and space to build confidence at his own pace.

A crate would be a great way to offer him a quiet retreat when the household gets busy. He’s quite submissive, so confidence-building exercises and some lead training will really help him thrive.

Raffles enjoys pottering around the garden, happily sniffing away. With a bit of support on the lead, he’ll soon learn to walk nicely and head in the right direction alongside you.
