Rosie, beautiful like the flower, is looking for a new home with someone who can give her a little patience and understanding. She is a stunning Lurcher with all the graceful features of the breed. Her wonderfully expressive face makes it impossible not to fall in love with her.
Rosie is looking for a new home through no fault of her own – her owner simply cannot give her the time and attention she deserves.
At first, Rosie can seem a little awkward, sometimes appearing aloof. But once she decides you’re a friend, she quickly shows her affectionate side. We’re told she gives the very best kisses. Rosie is dog-friendly and could happily live with another well-behaved dog, provided introductions go smoothly. At the moment she lives as an only dog, and she much prefers spending her time outdoors in the garden. She will usually choose an open space over being indoors, so a secure garden is an absolute must. As Rosie is something of an escape artist, we recommend using a long lead in the garden while she sniffs around and explores.
Because of her love for being outdoors, she would really enjoy having her own little dog house where she can relax and watch the world go by. At night, though, she’s more than happy to come inside and curl up on a soft bed in the living room.
Rosie is gentle with children and has lived around them before, but we would suggest a home with children aged eight and above, simply because of her size. While she doesn’t show the typical prey drive of a Lurcher, we feel a cat-free home would be best, just to be safe – though she has never shown any negative reaction to cats in the past.
