Sadie is a sassy young pup who is looking for a home where she can have fun! She is a little charmer with almost completely white fur, with a unique brown spot on one ear and another on the base of her tail. Her long puppy limb give her a bit of a gangly, lanky look but we know she will grow up to be an adorable family pet.

When we rescue dogs from the streets, we can usually expect a less than pleasant smell, smelling of dirt, rubbish or disease. Well Sadie surprised us all with the sweet smell of vanilla! She had obviously come from a home but had been cruelly dumped to the streets and left to fend for herself. We hear many different reasons for surrendering a dog to a rescue, they grow too large, they get boring, they aren’t cute babies anymore… But there is no excuse that would justify dropping a dog on the street.

Thankfully, Sadie made her way to us and has found a place in a temporary foster home. Sadie has just celebrated her 6th month and is still fully in her puppy phase, she loves nothing more than playing and causing mischief. you can often find Sadie flopped onto her back with her legs “bicycling” around. She adores her toys and spending time running around the garden. Because she is in a home, she is already picking up good home behaviours and would slot into a forever family right away.

Training wise, Sadie is a blank slate ready to learn. She is a smart girl who is eager to please and exceptionally friendly, she will make a fantastic companion for an owner who enjoys socialising. She is getting used to the idea of a collar and lead, with her long legs she would enjoy being out and about on walks with her owner, she could share her home with an existing dog but would be just as happy on her own, she has plenty of love to give.

Being that she is still a young puppy, Sadie can be prone to puppy behaviours. We would happily home her with children but they will need to understand that Sadie will need boundaries, rules and routine in order to thrive. We are looking for an adopter who is committed to raising Sadie, a puppy is a massive undertaking and we are hoping that she can charm her way into somebody’s heart and home soon, she is an absolute joy.
