Tank has definitely earned his name. This absolute beast of a boy is a Labrador mix who was originally rescued from Macedonia. He came to the UK in 2021 and has spent the last four years living with his family, surrounded by love, fun and happiness.

Unfortunately, his owners are now struggling. With a new member of the family, unexpected expenses and less time to give him, Tank isn’t getting the attention he needs. They have made the very difficult decision to rehome him. We can rehome anywhere in the UK, although the priority is finding the right match for Tank.

As you can see from his photos, Tank is a larger lad. He is currently on a weight-loss diet to help him shift a few pounds. His weight is affecting his health, so he is also being given supplements to support his recovery.

Tank is every bit the classic Labrador. He adores water and will launch himself into any puddle he spots. Towels are definitely a must when he’s out and about! He is a massive cuddler and still believes he is a lap dog, despite his size. Tank is fully housetrained, sleeps in his bed at night and settles well in the home. He is lovely with children and very much a gentle giant. We would suggest children aged eight and over, simply because he’s a big chap who can occasionally forget his own size.

Tank is not suitable for a home with cats.
