Socks is an adorable little lad looking for a home where he can run, play, and enjoy his brand-new life. He’s a gorgeous boy with mostly black fur and messy white patches all over, including the four white socks he’s named after. He’s already perfected his puppy-dog eyes to get extra attention from his carers.

Socks made a lucky escape from the kill shelter along with two of his siblings. Their mum was nowhere to be found, and fearing the worst, we took the pups in so they wouldn’t face the same fate. His sisters have already found their forever homes, so now it’s finally his turn.

Judging by his current size, we expect he’ll grow into a medium-sized dog. He’s a bit on the stocky side at the moment, but without having met his parents, we can’t say for certain.

As a young pup, Socks needs someone committed to the whole journey of raising a dog, setting rules and boundaries, socialising him, and giving him the training he needs to grow into a well-rounded adult. For now, his world mostly revolves around playing, eating, and sleeping. He gets on brilliantly with other dogs and would love a playmate in his forever home, though he’d also be perfectly happy soaking up all your attention. He hasn’t met any cats yet, but we can arrange a cat test for anyone interested. With his age, he’d likely adapt quickly and learn to live alongside them. The same goes for children, he’s still a puppy, so he can push his luck at times.

Socks is a cracking little lad who deserves a home where he’ll be loved and cherished. He’ll make a fantastic companion for whoever is lucky enough to adopt him.
