Tommy, a delightful young boy, was rescued alongside his mother Bonnie and five siblings: Ned, Murphy, Jasper, Jack, and Minnie. He has lovely black fur with white patches, his brown ears look as though he’s stolen them from another dog and his charming eyebrows give him an endearing expression.
We suspect that his mum was dumped after giving birth. We simply could not stand by and watch another litter have to grow up in those conditions, so we packed them all into the car and took them to our shelter.
Tommy is quickly approaching his 1st birthday and is blossoming into a wild little boy. He is always on the move and is almost impossible to photograph as he is constantly running about. He loves to play and is eagerly hoping for a home with an active family that can keep him occupied. He is a smarty pants and would love to learn more tricks, he would thrive in an environment where he is kept mentally and physically stimulated.
He was he biggest of his litter and it shows, he will be a good medium size when fully grown with long legs that would make him a great running buddy.
We have made a start with basic training including toilet training and lead walking. He is well socialised with other dogs of all ages & sizes in the shelter and is absolutely fine with the cats there too. We would happily put him in a home with children but we would ask that any children be dog-savvy and understand that puppies need time to adjust to new surroundings, especially when they are shy like Tommy. We have started his lead training and he is getting used to the idea of a harness, once his confidence builds we are sure he will be a little adventurer.
We are looking for a committed owner/family, ready to raise a puppy including the training, patience and lifestyle needed. Tommy is ready to travel to the UK at the end of May.
Fully vaccinated for Rabies and Infections Diseases
4D tested for Brucellosis and tick borne diseases
Tommy is microchipped but has not been neutered yet because of his age. He will be neutered before being adopted.
