Handsome lad Rainbow is on the look for a home where he can stretch his legs, he is a very lovely boy with a fluffy white and brindle coat, those warm brown eyes just scream mischief.

Rainbow is a lovely active boy who is essentially a puppy in a grown dog’s body. He is so playful and puppy-like that he seems to forget that he weights over 35kg. He was rescued from the dump when he was around 10 months and has been with us ever since. He can be a bit of a handful but we love him regardless. Rainbow is a well loved member of the kennels and we are hoping that we can match him with a home that appreciates all his charm.

He can be selective around other dogs and prefers human company (except for his best friend, Reela.) Ideally he would be in a home as the sole resident dog. His perfect home would have previous experience with large breeds as he can be a bit strong on the lead. Thankfully, Rainbow is a very smart, he would flourish with a bit of one-to-one training.

He is good with children but because of his exuberance and large size we would ideally see him homed with older teenagers who aren’t as easily knocked over. Rainbow has not been cat tested but we would be happy to do this for a prospective owner.

Rainbow is such a funny boy with a cheeky, loving personality and an affectionate side to him that makes him a perfect cuddle-buddy at the end of the day. He would definitely like to think that he’s a lap dog…
