Dobby is a very shy boy who was rescued from the kill shelter in Romania 2 years ago. In that time he has made some significant progress with people but is still very submissive and shy when it comes to new people. We would love Dobby to be in a home that can give him some patience and understanding. Once he gets to know you, he can be very affectionate.

As you can see from the videos he is great with other dogs so we would love it if his future owner had an established dog in the home so that Dobby can have a friend and guide to teach him that people are actually pretty great.

He is absolutely gorgeous, with an all black coat, warm brown eyes and an adorable curly tail that curves upwards over his back.

We would ideally like Dobby’s new home to have experience with rescue dogs and shy dogs so that he can go at his own pace. He is not thriving in the shelter, even the best shelter in the world is no substitute for a loving home.

Tested as normal for Brucella, Giardia and the 4DX test for tick borne diseases and passed with flying colours.
