Billie is a very handsome, calm dog who is looking for a sofa to crash on after being rescued in Romania. His gorgeous black coat is smooth and shiny and those stunning chocolate brown eyes just shine in the sun.

Billie was a lucky rescue from the Romanian kill shelter, his calm demeanour and loving nature would make him a fantastic candidate for many homes. Despite being four years old, Billie is an old soul. He would rather find a sunny spot in the garden and sunbathe than roll around and play with the younger dogs.

A lot of his history is unknown, but he is comfortable on a lead which could mean that he had a home at some point in the past. He could do with some lead training to make sure that he walks politely. He is very gentle and would make a good option for people with children, ideally children would be over 12 just due to Billy’s size, he is roughly Labrador size and does have potential to be strong.

Billie is absolutely no trouble around other dogs and is happy to just go about his day. He wouldn’t mind sharing his future home with another dog, ideally a dog with a similar calm nature. Having another dog in the home would probably help give him someone to follow when he is unsure of what do to in the home. Billie would, of course, be just as happy as the only dog in the home.

We have not had the change to cat test Billie yet, but this can be organised for an interested adopter.
