Bailey, with his constant smile, is on the lookout for a home to brighten up with his sunny nature and optimistic spirit. This handsome Labrador Mix boasts gorgeous blonde fur and a distinctive dark patch near his mouth—so you know where the treats go, he jokes!

Bailey was discovered wandering the streets, abandoned by his former owners. People rehome their dogs for various reasons; perhaps the dog is aggressive, or doesn’t mesh well with other pets. But Bailey’s only fault? He simply grew too large. His owners bought him as a puppy, and once he outgrew his puppy stage, they decided to discard him. Dropping him off in the middle of the town square and walking away, Bailey tried to follow but soon realised that he wasn’t wanted. We never want Bailey to feel that way again, so we are looking for a loving forever home for him.

Bailey, now approximately four years old, is similar in size to a Labrador but boasts a leaner build, ideal for dashing about the garden and taking nice walks. He’s a robust, muscular dog who requires an owner capable of managing his strength. Although he tends to pull on the leash, focused one-on-one training could effectively address this behaviour.

He is sociable with every dog he encounters and enjoys playing in the garden; he would gladly share his space with another dog. Bailey would also be content as the only dog. Now an adult and past his rebellious teenage phase, he has become a dog who much prefers cuddling on the sofa and watching TV. A daily stroll and some fetch in a secure garden would suffice for Bailey. He relishes a good sniff, so hiding some treats around the house would provide him with ample entertainment.

Cats are not a problem for Bailey, he would be happy to share his space with a feline friend.

Bailey gets on very well with children given his serene nature and love of cuddles. He is still a big lad so we would advise any children in the home be over 7, just to avoid any accidental tumbles.
