Crystal was born on the streets, growing up begging and scavenging, perched beside bins in hopes of someone taking pity and throwing her some old food. Life was far from ideal, but it provided her with semi-regular meals. Then, one day, a person arrived, placed her in a van, and drove her away from her birthplace, only to abandon her at a landfill.

During one of our routine visits to the dump, we were greeted by a large white dog who came bounding towards us, tail wagging, determined not to be ignored. She joyfully accompanied us home and has been a delightful presence ever since. Crystal, a sizable Labrador-type with a heart just as big, radiates kindness. Her beautiful blonde fur, soft floppy ears, and playful smile make her simply irresistible.

Crystal is your shadow, she will follow you and stick to you whenever she can. If you are doing something she will follow you with her eyes. She is absolutely devoted, when she bonds with her human friend, she takes her job as “man’s best friend” very seriously. She connects with the ones who love her.

Crystal gets along with dogs that aren’t overly energetic; she has a preference for older, more tranquil companions. It’s advisable to feed her separately from other animals, a practice we suggest for all dogs. Having had to fend for herself, she’s quite protective of her food, which is understandable.

A home with children over 12, in a quiet setting would be ideal for her. As a large dog, she requires an owner capable of handling her size, yet she is a delight to walk on a lead and is used to keeping to a slow pace with her walker. This gorgeous, long-legged four-year-old is eagerly awaiting the opportunity to meet her forever family.

She has tested negative for brucellosis, leishmaniasis

Passed her Snap 4D test which tests for heartworm, ehrlichia and anaplasma.
