Meet Dougie🖤🐾

Dougie is a beautiful, lively 8 month old pup who is looking for a new home. We rescued Dougie when he was just 15 weeks old, after being left outside on a high rise balcony all day and night.

Since his rescue, he has come on a long way and needs to find his forever home, who can continue providing him structure and training. He is super smart, and engages really well with training. Our trainer linked to the rescue has met him on a few occasions now and believes he is a super dog – but needs some more structure.

Dougie loves other dogs and people, he wants to meet and greet everyone he meets. He could easily live with another dog. Even though he has been good around children he’s met, due to his size & that he is jumpy we would recommend he is rehomed in a home with children aged 16+ (child free homes would also be considered). He could possibly live with children that are younger, however this would only be considered if they had been around, large, young dogs in the home previously.

He is a really lovely boy, but he is big and strong. His continuation of training includes learning to switch off and avoid jumping up. Currently he is working on impulse control, recall and to walk nicely on a lead.

Dougie is fully vaccinated and microchipped. He is not currently neutered due to his age, however this would be a requirement for adoption when he reaches an appropriate age.
