Meet Lovely Lisa, a stunning medium-sized mixed breed with a gorgeous ginger coat, large ears, and a smile that will light up your day. She’s eagerly searching for her forever home after being surrendered by her previous family. Dubbed a “covid dog,” she was acquired during the initial lockdown and sadly left behind once life returned to normal and her owners resumed work.

At 3 years old, Lisa waits in the kennels for a loving home. She finds herself here through no fault of her own and is truly a wonderful companion. Lisa enjoys the company of other dogs and delights in garden playtime with her canine pals. Ideally, we’d like to rehome her with another dog for companionship, but she would also thrive as the only pet, provided she receives plenty of attention.

Lisa interacts well with visiting children, but the ideal situation would be for her to find a home with older teenagers or children who are experienced with dogs. Previously, she lived in a home where the children lacked boundaries with her, which has made her somewhat nervous around children—though not aggressive. She appreciates having her own space, away from grabby hands.

She walks beautifully on the lead, enjoying her outings with a keen interest in sniffing and exploring. She’s fully house-trained and smart, which means she could learn additional tricks with some consistent training. While she hasn’t been tested with cats, we can arrange a cat test for her if a potential owner requires.
