Naomi is a gentle and affectionate little lady searching for a loving home where she can finally feel safe and cherished. She’s a petite, graceful dog with a sleek dark brown/black coat and soulful brown eyes that reflect her kind nature.

Found wandering the streets of Macedonia with no owner in sight, Naomi is believed to have spent most—if not all—of her life as a stray. Her experiences may have included hardship, making her understandably cautious when meeting new people. However, beneath her initial shyness, she deeply craves human affection. While she may hang back in moments of commotion, her wagging tail is a clear sign that she longs for love—she just needs a little extra time and patience to build her confidence.

Naomi would adapt well to various home environments. She’s a “petite medium,” similar in size to a Collie but with a slender, elegant build. As an adult dog, she doesn’t require the constant supervision and energy of a young pup, making her a wonderful match for a calm household. A relaxed, retired home with daily walks and a few toys in the garden would be more than enough to keep her content.

She gets along beautifully with other dogs and would likely benefit from having a canine companion to boost her confidence, especially since she has never lived in a home before. She is also very tolerant of cats, making her an excellent candidate for a multi-pet household.

While Naomi has never shown aggression toward children, their unpredictability can make her a bit anxious. A home with older, dog-savvy teenagers or an adult-only household would be ideal. To help her feel secure, crate training could provide her with a safe retreat—her very own “Naomi’s Nest.”
