Oakley is a strikingly handsome young dog in search of a permanent home. His unique appearance, predominantly dark brown or black with distinctive light brown markings, includes a pair of eyebrows that lend him an expressive and endearing charm.

Oakley was found at one of the illegal dumps as a puppy along with his siblings. Now all of his brothers and sisters have been adopted it’s time that Oakley had a chance to find his home.

He is an affectionate little attention seeker, he loves being around people and is friendly with everyone he meets. He would be a great dog to accompany his owner on adventures. He enjoys daily walks so that he can get his steps in and say hello to everyone. He gets on very well with other dogs and could happily live with a canine housemate. Oakley would enjoy the opportunity to run and play with other dogs. If he is to be homed alone, we would appreciate it if his new owner could find dog clubs or join pack walks to ensure he has a fulfilling social life.

He walks well on the lead; once the initial excitement of being outdoors subsides, he contentedly strolls alongside you, indulging in the occasional sniff. Oakley is adored at the kennels for his sweet and gentle disposition. He would make a wonderful companion for many homes, as he ultimately cherishes nothing more than a cuddle and perhaps a few treats.

Unfortunately, Oakley is not the biggest fan of cats. So, we would not rehome him with cats or small animals just in case.

Oakley is great with children, he takes treats very gently and loves a cuddle so we would confidently rehome him with children over 8.
