Setra, a stunning spaniel mix, is eagerly searching for her forever home. She’s a charming girl, boasting a striking black and white coat paired with dark brown eyes that sparkle with intelligence. We believe she might be a mix of predominantly Spaniel and Setter, her sweet personality, soft swishy fur and intelligence have made her a favourite among her carers.

Setra is a very special dog, with a sweetness about her that simply melts the heart. She is simply lovely and it is such a shame that she has not managed to find a home yet.

She would happily share her home with another dog, but she would be equally content as the sole pet, provided she receives plenty of one-on-one time with her owner. Unfortunately, Setra is not the biggest fan of cats so we would not rehome her with any in the home.

She has been described as “a joy to walk.” Her initial bounciness at the beginning of walks comes from her eagerness to leave her kennel. However, she quickly calms down and will walk to heel after the initial excitement fades. She is happy to toddle at your side, just going with the flow. As she becomes accustomed to a home routine, we anticipate that walks will turn into a pleasant aspect of her day, instead of a moment of over-excitement.

Due to this bounciness, we would ideally home her with children over 12 to avoid any accidental tumbles. However, she is very gentle and patient with youngsters so dog-savvy children would be taken into consideration. Setra is a loyal and affectionate dog, highly intelligent and eager to learn new tricks. She would thrive in a home with previous experience with working breeds, although it’s not a strict requirement, provided that the new owners understand that intelligent working breeds naturally require more attention.

She has tested negative for brucellosis, leishmaniasis and has passed her Snap 4D test which tests for heartworm, ehrlichia and anaplasma.

Setra had been microchipped and spayed
