Blue is a gorgeous young man, boasting lovely golden brown fur and a charming beauty mark on his cheek. He is a charmer and is a well loved dog at the kennels.

He was found on the streets in Macedonia after being hit by a train. Of course, we rushed him off to our vet who brought him back to life after a serious near miss. The vet’s were blown away by his affectionate nature and loving character. He left the vets a happy smiling dog, minus one leg.

This boy is a pure miracle and so trusting of people, he is one in a million.

He has been living as a Tri-Paw since, not that you would know, he runs around like any other dog and it doesn’t even phase him. He is happy running around and rolling in the grass, he loves to play with other dogs and is even fine with the resident cats. He is a cuddle bug and fancies himself a lap dog even though he isn’t a small dog. Blue is very intelligent and would pick up more tricks with ease, especially if it means getting a bit of chicken or sausage.

He is gentle with children but can be excitable to we would advise a home with children over 12. He is absolutely lovely when out walking and is happy to hop along, he is not prone to pulling and would love a daily walk around the neighbourhood. He will need a joint supplement as he ages but this is something we recommend to all dogs as they get older. He has shown no signs of being unbalanced or uncomfortable on his legs. He would love a home with an enclosed garden so he can sunbathe in the warmer months.

He has tested negative for brucellosis, leishmaniasis and has passed his Snap 4D test which tests for heartworm, ehrlichia and anaplasma.

Blue is a very cuddle boy who is looking for his home. If Blue loves one thing it is cuddling, he loves attention and receiving love from his carers. He was found in Macedonia after being hit by a train. He was left to suffer one of the most horrendous injuries ever, but he has come out the other end a happy smiling dog. This boy is a pure miracle and so trusting of people, he is one in a million. When we found Blue, he did have to have his back left leg amputated – but he doesn’t care. He runs around like any other dog and it doesn’t even phase him. After all he has been through, it’s time he gets his own home, where he can cuddle on you whilst you sit on the sofa. Blue is approximately 2 years old and medium to large size.

He gets on brilliant with other dogs and is even great with cats – there isn’t a home that wouldn’t suit him! He is a big boy, so would be best suited in a home with children over “knock down” age, but he is so friendly and loving so would be fine to live in a family home set up. We have fallen in love with Blue at the rescue but he really does deserve a home
