Frida is a beautiful, all-black Labrador with a heart full of love and a personality to match. Friendly, loyal, and full of charm, she embodies everything we adore about this beloved breed. Now, she’s ready to find a family who will welcome her as one of their own.

Frida was sadly surrendered by her previous owner, who struggled to keep up with her growing size and energy levels—a common challenge when people underestimate the needs of a young, active dog. Fortunately, Frida has an amazing temperament and is eager to learn, making her a fantastic addition to most families.

A home with a decent-sized garden would be ideal, as Frida loves basking in the sun and would be thrilled to have some toys for a game of fetch. She will need regular exercise, so daily walks will be essential to keep her happy and stimulated.

Frida enjoys playing with other dogs and would likely love a canine companion in her forever home to keep her company when her owners are out. She is still learning her lead manners and would benefit from one-to-one training. Like most Labradors, she is highly food-motivated, which makes training easier! That said, she would also be just as happy as the only pet in the home—she thrives on attention and adores a good cuddle with her favourite humans.

Children are some of Frida’s favourite people, especially when they come bearing treats! Due to her size and current energy levels, we recommend any children in the home be over the age of seven to avoid any accidental tumbles. With structure, guidance, and consistent boundaries, Frida has the potential to become a well-rounded “everywhere dog” who fits seamlessly into family life.

Could you be the loving home Frida is waiting for?
