Indie is a lovely medium-sized lady who has been staying in our kennels for some time. It’s unknown why she’s still with us; she’s incredibly sweet and endearing, with a comically oversized head atop her petite legs.

Indie is absolutely fantastic with children, she is the definition of a “nanny dog”. She is instinctively gentle with youngsters, so friendly and charming. Indie is the future best friend of any child who is lucky enough to have her join the family. She flourishes with some attention and affection, and would happily spend her entire day being pampered and cuddled.

She engages well with training, already knowing the basics and absolutely loves her food, she would do just about anything for a bit of chicken or sausage! We have been taking advantage of this to get her used to being around other dogs. Her initial interactions with other dogs were not the most positive but she has been doing very well and can now be socially neutral on walks. Indie would prefer to be the only dog in the home but could share with a calm, older dog.

Indie has not been cat tested but she could potentially live with them following a successful cat test with us. She is a gentle soul and we doubt she would chase any on her little legs anyway.

We would love to see Indie in a home with an enclosed garden so that she can toddle about, enjoy the sun and watch the birds. At the end of the day she loves to curl up in her bed and snooze, dreaming of the day when she can get her place on the happy bus to her forever home.
