Vucho is a breath-taking Husky mix in search of a loving, stable forever home. His beauty is undeniable, with the classic Husky markings, large ears, and a fluffy tail tipped in white highlighting his Husky heritage. His unique blend of blonde and brown fur, paired with deep brown eyes, creates a striking contrast that is sure to capture some attention when out and about.

Vucho was discovered beside a highway bridge, clearly abandoned and paralyzed with fear. With cars speeding by, some narrowly missing him, he wandered aimlessly, overwhelmed and anxious. It was obvious he had been left there recently as he was still waiting for his former owners, reluctant to seek a safer place. He stayed, likely wishing for his previous family to return for him. In the end, Vucho leapt into the vehicle of one of our rescuers, and we brought him to the safety of the kennels.

Despite the mystery of his abandonment, Vucho couldn’t be sweeter. He’s obedient, eager to please, and always ready to offer a paw for a treat. This bright young pup would thrive with a little routine and steady training. He’s good on a lead, though he’ll need a bit of guidance to perfect his manners and ensure his enthusiasm doesn’t get the best of him.

Vucho is a cuddle bug who thrives on human interaction, adoring kisses and constantly seeking affection from those nearby. In a home, he would be the quintessential velcro dog, attentively observing his owner and following them everywhere.

Vucho is content to share his home with another dog; he currently shares his kennel and thoroughly enjoys socializing with his canine companions. He wouldn’t mind being the sole dog as long as he receives ample attention from his owner. Participating in a walking group or having doggy playdates would be ideal for him to engage in play with other dogs. Vucho is looking for a home that comes with a grassy garden where he can frolic, play with his toys, and bask in the summer sun.

Vucho is suitable for a home with children, though his youthful exuberance means he may need guidance on not jumping up, as some may not welcome such enthusiasm. Despite this, he is an intelligent dog and will quickly understand there is an appropriate time and place for everything. It is recommended that children be older than 8 and have some prior experience with dogs.

Vucho has not been tested with cats but we are happy to do so for a prospective owner.

Vucho is a wonderful companion who simply needs an opportunity to shine. He possesses a sweet, gentle demeanor when appropriate, yet he’s always ready to embrace fun and be playful. If you’re looking for someone to remind you not to take life too seriously, Vucho is the perfect choice.
